What? you're still reading this thing? You're either VERY bored or one of my kids.
At any rate, this brings me to about 40 years ago and my second wife who was my first love. After the unfortunate passing of my first wife, even though she hadn't really died at that point, I returned to Bloodhoof and looked up Onawa. She -says- she waited for me, but I think she was just too focused on her career to bother with finding another man... but by the time I came back her "clock" was ticking and she was ready to have some kids!
Nasnani was born first, and while he was barely learning to walk Onawa got pregnant with Aneketa. But hey, apparently I'm doomed to be plagued by centaurs... once again my camp was attacked. I'd blame my brother except he was already wrapped up on stilts on the other side of Mulgore. I was in Thousand Needles visiting a friend of mine, Ethala Darkhorn, and her little boy when I got word of the attack. Onawa, Nasnani and Aneketa... all dead. Ethala was very kind of me in my time of grief, I might even have married her if she wasn't already married.
I returned home and said my good-byes to Onawa and Nasnani, Aneketa's body was never found but there were enough pieces... and no survivors remember seeing her after the attack... so I said my good-byes to her too. I should have learned my lesson the first time around, I guess, but again... no dickwad brother to scheme this time. Right? Nope, my only daughter was alive and since she was too little to even say her parents names (how do you find "dada" and "mama"?) she was fostered out.
The next few years are something I don't talk about much... suffice it to say I was busy.
This last year a young troll shaman joined the Faire, and on meeting Lindiwe he realized that she was my lost Aneketa. Joyous reunion right? Bah, who wants a senile old man for a father? especially one that obviously didn't look hard enough for children he thought were dead. It explains a lot though... she's got the same fire her mother had, quite the career woman. Maybe someday she'll settle down with a nice tauren boy. Not that Tomahna fellow though... I knew him when he was in diapers, he's a trouble maker, just like his mother!
Ethala Darkhorn came from the back story of the player Tomahna and so was put in to tie him in (although Tomahna spent most of his time denying his obvious paternity).
