Rambling some ideas down...
MoP new glyphs, druid travel form = stag. Make a crap ton of glyphs (or at least have mats for them) and throw a Stag Party in Moonglade. Show up to the party, get a free glyph for stag form and stick around for the celebration.
Hmm, could be fun.
Previously I organized the Druids of Emerald Dream (and later Wymrest Accord) into monthly meetings, creating an overall story arc. Gathering of Druids involved three elected officials (player characters) from different level ranges (to keep it from always being level 85 druids). At that time we used the levels you got Flight Form and Travel Form as the breaks. Concession was made if there were no druids of the level range, allowing for any level druid to "run" for that spot.
We viewed ourselves as sort of the middle management of the Cenarion Circle, we took orders from the top but directed the player character druids who wished to participate. It was cross faction but each faction had to elect their own three leaders.
Elections were held each month but staggered... so the election for the 1-30 slot was held one month, then next month it was the 31-68, then 69-85 and so on. This meant we never replaced the entire council at once (since those three were also responsible for running the OOC part of the story arc) and everyone got to "lead" for three month terms.
Collaboration took place on a community forum (as well as cross faction role play).
It'd be awesome to see an event like this again, though I'm not sure I have the stamina to start it up a third time!
